Ben Rotheray is the founder and Managing Director of The Value Engine, which he started in 2020 to systematise his expertise in solving the pressing challenges faced by small to medium-sized business owners and founders.
An engineer by trade with a Master’s in Innovation & Engineering Design from the University of Bath, Ben’s profession has been squarely focused on marketing and corporate strategy. This unique blend allows him to deeply understand business operations from a technical perspective while developing strategic growth plans through his marketing acumen.
Ben’s passion for innovation and entrepreneurial thinking is further bolstered by an MBA from the University of Exeter in 2014. His diverse experience spans startups to global brands across B2B and B2C sectors, holding leadership roles at renowned companies like Jaguar Land Rover, Bott Group, and within the sports and leisure industries.
At the core of Ben’s approach is harmonising world-class strategic processes with hands-on entrepreneurial implementation. This fusion of structure and agility, combined with his engineering foundations and marketing proficiency, allows him to gain nuanced insights into businesses. From this vantage point, he has worked hard to create products that resonate with SME owners/founders and provide tailored solutions so they and their businesses can not only survive but thrive.
